Could it be?
So, I was messing around last Wednesday, looking at potential jobs for after graduation. I put my resume out there for a few, knowing that I couldn't really get them. The jobs I was looking at were in the 90-125k/yr range. Right after I get out of school I expect (and reasonably so) to make around 50-60k to start, not 100.

Anyway, I got a call on Friday requesting an interview today.

Well, thank you, I'm flattered. I do hope I made it clear on my CV that I will not have obtained my Masters degree until May... I say.

Yes, that was very clear. says Mr. Big-shot's appointment maker.


Wow. How cool would it be to secure a job making 100k BEFORE I graduate.

Of course, except, there is no way we would ever get anything done. We would be eating mac&cheese with ketchup all the time.

We would both get fired.

you know Im terrified about even getting a job for 20k after graduation. Here the market is soooooooooooooooooooooo satiturated that master's students are up again phd so I am soooo happy for you and I know you will do great. You give me confidence!!!

Well, but you are going into human services and I've geared my studies toward the I/O end of things, which pays much better, in general, than the really tough work, like you'll be doing.
It isn't fair, is it?

Have you ever thought about relocating?

oh gosh yes. I REALLY want to move to portland. But I still have to gain my 3000k hours for linsencure and that part is easier to do here. Once I get them I plan to move out there!
